oiiii I just wanted to share some updates on the next animation I'm working on and liiike talk about arts stuff yanomeannn?

Honestly thought it's been way more than 3 months since I started working on the episode, it felt like longer, but I guess thats good! cuzzz it means I'm getting more done quicker! I have been feeling a lil guilty that I haven't been getting as much done as I want, but I gotta be patient, might work on another project or 2 in between just to fill the gap.

But ya I've been posting lil updates and stuff in my discord server alot, like this one! Its the simplest animations that usually have the most work put in ironically, but I'm real proud of em, they make me feeeel sophisticated... I'm hoping that by the end of all this, I can just throw all my previous episodes in the trash and establish a new quality standard, and I know I say that every time but.... actually I don't have an excuse I do just say that every time. but check it right

If you couldn't tell by the last teasers I posted, I've been putting alot more time and care into my backgrounds, and honestlyyy they might be my least favorite part of the whole thing, its such a slog! they look better than before, but I know they could still be way better if I practiced more. If I were ever to hire someone for anything, it'd probably be this.

but back to the meat and potatoes right, I've been giving alot of attention to Maymi and Jackie since theyre gonna provide like, the main conflict in the next episode. Its about loove right? its about PAIINNN AND HEARTACHE. I'm finally starting to dip my toes into some more nuisance story telling. I've always had alot of ambitious themes I wanted to tackle eventually, but for the time being I just wanna keep it light hearted and fun, so this should give a lil bit of both yknow?

beyond that, I also want to introduce a guest animator who will be joining me the next go around

its me. I'm the guest animator. I have a really silly bit I wanna do, so I've been teaching myself how to draw eyes. its gonna be SO SILLY. I cant wait!

Its weird getting so much attention on the projects you see so little value in yknow. Like I just wanna hurry up and finish this thing so I can show everyone how much better I've gotten, leave all that old stuff behind. But its also really nice to see that people find value in those projects you think so little of, that people still stand behind you and want to see you succeed, its encouraging stuff.

I also had an idea for a sonic animation I thought would be fun so I might do that too
